U.S. Citizens and U.S. Companies:
W-9 tax forms will remain valid until there is a change to your name, company type or tax identification number (SSN or EIN). However, we highly recommend submitting a new W-9 if you have a change of address.
Non-U.S. Citizens and U.S. Companies:
All W-8 forms expire after 3 years and a new form must be submitted to maintain your tax status. Additionally, a new W-8 form must be submitted immediately if there is a change of name, company type, address or tax identification number.
(For example: a W-8 form completed and submitted in 2019 will remain valid until December 31, 2022 provided there are no changes to your name, company type, address or tax identification number)
