What labels can a track have?

Every track carries one of four labels: Human-Made, AI-Assisted, Inconclusive, or Not Scanned. The label is shown per track, so you always see the call for the exact release you are looking at.

What does Human-Made mean?

The track has been reviewed through our verification process and classified as human made. It is the mark we are proudest of, and it puts real human artistry front and center.

What does AI-Assisted mean?

Our verification process flagged the use of AI-assisted creation tools in the track. AI-assisted music is welcome on Traxsource. It is labeled AI-Assisted and sold right alongside everything else. The label is there to inform buyers, not to penalize the music.

Is AI-assisted music allowed, and what about fully AI-generated music?

AI-assisted music with real human creative input, your own song structures and production, is allowed and stays on the platform. The one firm line is fully AI-generated music with no human input beyond a prompt will be removed. Using an AI-made instrument or sound inside a track you wrote and produced does not put you on the wrong side of that line.

What does Inconclusive mean?

The track was scanned, but the result was not clear enough to call it Human-Made or AI-Assisted. No conclusion has been made. It is not a mark against the music.

What does Not Scanned mean?

The track has not been processed through our classification system, usually because of its release date. Like Inconclusive, it is a status, not a judgment.

Will an AI-Assisted label hurt my sales or chart visibility?

An AI-Assisted label is information for the buyer, not a penalty from Traxsource. AI-assisted music sells right alongside everything else, and many buyers have no issue with AI tools in the mix. The label is track-level, so one AI-Assisted track does not color the rest of a release. If you believe a track was flagged wrongly, the dispute process is there to put it right.
