Sales Statements.

When will I receive my sales statement?
Traxsource accounts on a monthly basis for sales.  You will receive email notice that your sales statement is ready to be viewed/downloaded within thirty (30) days following the end of each contractual accounting period.

I did not receive a sales statement this month.  Why is my sales statement not posted in my account profile?
If there are no sales for your account in a specific sales period a statement will not be posted to your profile.  If you see sales listed when you generate an online report for a specific sales period but your statement still has not posted to your profile after 30 days from the end of the period please contact labelsupport@traxsource.com and we will look into the issue.

When will I receive payment for releases that have been sold as a “Pre-Order?
“Pre-order” sales are accounted for during the same monthly sales period in which they are sold regardless of the official release date.  For example: If a release is sold as a “Pre-Order” in the month of March but is not officially released until April, the “Pre-Order” sales are still accounted for on your March sales statement.

How can I obtain copies of sales statements for periods prior to May 2011?
For copies of any sales statements prior to the May 2011 please email labelsupport@traxsource.com with your request.  Please be sure to include your label/account name and the specific sales period for which you need copies.  Please note: All statements for the periods of May 2011 and forward are available for download from your Traxsource Label and Content System account.  Just click on “Statements” from the menu.

Can Traxsource provide me with a total sales statement for a “Single Release” and/or a “Specific Artist” on my label?
Although we understand the accounting difficulties of an independent label we cannot provide a separate sales statement for a “Single Release” and/or a “Specific Artist”.  Traxsource accounts on a monthly basis and all sales are closed out at the end of each sales period.

We recommend using royalty management software or subscribing to a royalty accounting service that can provide you with all of the tools you need to manage and track your content, import sale statements and generate royalty statements for your artists and producers.

Can Traxsource provide me with a separate sales statement for each label under my account?
Although we understand the accounting difficulties of an independent label we cannot provide a separate sales statement for each Sub-label you choose the carry under your account.

We recommend using royalty management software or subscribing to a royalty accounting service that can provide you with all of the tools you need to manage and track your content, import sale statements and generate royalty statements for your labels, artists and producers.
